CCC Introduces New Air Miser® Control System

Compressor Controls Corporation is announcing a new addition to its comprehensive control products line. The new Air Miser control system is developed specifically for integrated control of plant air compressors and replacement of obsolete and/or inadequate control systems. The new Air Miser is based on the state-of-the-art hardware, and comes in standard plant air compressor control packages supplemented by optional instrumentation and value packages. The standard hardware set is housed in a NEMA 4 or NEMA 4x enclosure mountable near your plant air compressor. Color graphics operator interface panel provides for ease of compressor performance monitoring, full control capabilities for operators and configuration data access for maintenance personnel.

Reliant Energy’s Conemaugh Generating Station Achieved Significant Energy Savings with CCC Controls
October 8, 2004

The end user’s engineer offers an assessment of the benefits resulting from the retrofit of air compressors’ control system. Early in 2002 CCC received an inquiry from Reliant Energy for a plant air compressor control system replacement needed at the coal-fired 1800 MW Conemaugh Generating Station in New Florence, PA. The inquiry asked CCC to propose a replacement for an aging pneumatic system that was used to control three Allis-Chalmers air compressors.

Dawcul Limited is a New CCC Representative in Croatia, Slovenia and Bosnia-Herzegovina

Compressor Controls Corporation has recently appointed Dawcul Limited as its representative for the territories of Croatia, Slovenia and Bosnia-Herzegovina. Dawcul Ltd is a UK-based company with branch offices in the Eastern Europe.
CCC will be primarily working with the Dawcul office in Zagreb, Croatia, which is managed by Ivica Stipic. Dawcull will support CCC further expansion into the local turbomachinery control markets.
