Purpose-built controls offer high performance but can be costly to support. General-purpose control equipment (PLC and DCS) is flexible and more affordable, but sacrifice performance. CCC Series 5 line of products strikes a balance between the high performance of purpose-built controls and the openness of general-purpose controls without compromising the control and protection of your turbomachinery.
The newly-introduced Vibrant® (Vibration Protection and Condition Monitoring System), expands CCC's trademarked TTC offering on the Series 5 platform to include vibration protection and condition monitoring, thus bringing the next generation of control solution - Total Train Management™ (TTM).
The TTM platform is API 670-compliant, based upon robust, reliable, field-proven Reliant® or Vanguard® CCC hardware and pre-programmed, field-configurable, protection logic for alarming and shutdown. Applications are available for shaft radial vibration, axial/thrust position, casing vibration (seismic sensors) and TSI-specific applications like shaft eccentricity, case expansion, differential expansion and valve position.
CCC products fall into two main categories - Engineered Products and Pre-Engineered Products.
CCC Pre-Engineered products offer CCC advanced control solutions in standardized "off-the-shelf" configurable packages. Most projects utilizing Pre-Engineered products will require no custom CCC project engineering services.
