OnLook™ [Remote Diagnostics Service Module]

Coverage
OnLook™ Remote Diagnostics provides for remote monitoring and diagnosis of your control system by an experienced CCC engineer. The specialist will dial into your TrainView® operator interface system to evaluate control system performance and trouble shoot as required.

Implemented in conjunction with the annual OnTel contract, you will be entitled to simply call and arrange a session of Remote Diagnostics, day or night. This means your wait for help will be minimized.
The Remote Diagnostics Service Module OnLook assures availability of a CCC in-house expert to troubleshoot the control system’s performance and identify problems. Process upsets and critical events, control system hardware, field devices, configurations and loop tuning are among the items we can diagnose from a remote location. After a remote diagnostic session, we will send you a report on our findings and recommended corrective actions. Additionally, changes that are made from the previous remote assistance session will be highlighted.

It is recommended that a Field Service Engineer connect to each installation covered under this service agreement every six months, during which time, system assessment will be performed. Trends will be analyzed, machine status will be conveyed, and a complete evaluation will be performed on said equipment. The Service Engineer will then produce a deliverable which will be a report highlighting changes observed, as well as any recommendations for the system.

Response time
The response time will be as per the response time specified for OnTel Module. OnLook Module can only be contracted in combination with OnTel.

Rates
For remote trouble shooting (including all time spent to resolve the problem) and corrective maintenance the standard “Field Services Rate Sheet” is applicable. This rate sheet will be updated annually and is available on request.

System requirements
This module requires a link between the customer’s Operator Interface Station (OIS) computer running the TrainView software package running and the CCC Des Moines office. This link can be through either a telephone line (modem) or the Internet (Ethernet card). Communication software to be used is CarbonCopy Plus. Those installations without TrainView must procure the TrainView operator interface in order to have the benefits of Remote Diagnostics OnLook.
