The CCC advantage comes not only from our custom-made control solutions, but from our reliable support services, as well.
Our Commitment
We are committed to offering an appropriate business decision to our customers. If you are concerned about the operation of your turbomachinery, the following is what you can expect from your local CCC Representative:
- We will determine together, if the operational issues you have regarding your turbomachinery are control system related.
- If we both agree that there are problems (reliability or efficiency) related to turbomachinery control, you need to determine if these problems are significant enough to justify further investigation.
- We will then help to determine the financial impact of the problems.
- You will bring your knowledge of the operation, and we will bring our knowledge of turbomachinery control applications to the table.
- You will then have to determine if the Cost of the Problem (COP) is substantial enough to develop a solution.
- Next, we will jointly develop a turbomachinery control solution that addresses your specific problems. When this is finished, you will know the COP and the cost of solving this problem.
- If you feel that the ratio of COP versus the cost of solving the problem is favorable, then you can decide to proceed. Typically, at this point, the customer asks for a detailed proposal after which they can make a decision whether or not to execute the project.
Ask CCC Representatives about our expertise. No company in the turbomachinery control field can match our hand-on experience and wide range of successful installations worldwide amassed over years in business. CCC systems operating on over 7,100 turbomachinery trains including more then 500 steam turbines. CCC is the largest gas turbine controls retrofitter with over 1,500 gas turbine retrofits, and counting.

Step 2
The Equipment Repair Request Form needs to be filled out and sent with the equipment to be repaired.
When returning (S2, S3, S3+, S4, S5) failed parts for repair, please keep in mind CCC prefers the complete controller be returned. This way the complete unit can be tested. If only parts are returned the failure may not be in the unit returned, and valuable time has been wasted. If only parts are returned for repair, a Controller SN# (serial number) should be included.
Warranty Repair
(less than 12 months after shipment)
To expedite return, please be sure the Equipment Repair Request Form is complete with "ship to" address, with any special document requirements or instructions.
Non-Warranty Repair
(12 months after shipment)
If this is a Non-Warranty Repair, then if possible please issue and include a Purchase Order (PO) with the unit to be repaired. Your PO should include all "Bill to" and "Ship to" information, with any special document requirements or instructions. Upon completion of repair, you will be notified of final cost.
We require that you revise (or issue if not previously issued) your company PO within 60 days of notification. Failure to issue your PO within that time could be considered as abandonment of equipment and could result in transfer to the CCC repair inventory or disassembled as scrap.
Cost estimates
We do not issue quotes on repairs. Please read the Equipment Repair Request Form.
Prompt Delivery
Return PREPAID Freight and duties "DOOR TO DOOR" to "MUST CLEAR CUSTOMS IN DES MOINES, IOWA, USA".
These carriers have Power of Attorney to customs broker for CCC without delays: DHL or Emery (UPS Supply Chain Solutions) or Burlington Air Express (BAX).
DO NOT USE Federal Express (FedEx) as CCC will incur additional customs clearance cost.
ABSOLUTELY DO Not USE the Standard Airlines as they require additional documentation and outside broker clearance.
If the goods are returned by a freight forwarder and does not deliver to Des Moines for Customs Clearance, CCC will then have to get an outside Broker to clear customs with delivery delays of approximately two weeks and additional cost of $300.00 to $500.00 that will be charged back to the Customer or Distributor for the import fee charge to CCC for customs clearance.
The Commercial Invoice should have this Statement on it:
"USA goods return to Manufacturer, for Warranty Repair and or Replacement."
By using this statement, duties should be waived as return to manufacturer. This makes it quicker and easier to receive goods without incurring additional customs clearance for non-duty goods.
